Draft Profile: Bio
After high school, Scott opted to join Central Michigan.

In 2018 as a freshman Scott saw action in just one game for the Chippewas as he made one reception for just 5 yards for an average of 5.0 yards per reception, with no TDs, and just QB rating when targeted of 39.6.

As a sophomore in 2019 he played 14 games and had 37 catches for 650 yards for an average of 17.6 yards per catch, with 5 TDs, and an excellent QB rating when targeted of 104.1.

As a junior in 2020 he played just 2 games and hauled in just 4 catches for just 35 yards for an average of 8.8 yards per catch, with no TDs, and QB rating when targeted of 70.5.

After the end of the season Scott transferred to Missouri State where as a senior in 2021 he played 12 games and had 66 catches for an outstanding 1103 yards for an average of 16.7 yards per catch, 8 TDs, and an excellent QB rating when targeted of 133.7.

As a fifth year senior in 2022 he played 11 games and had 47 catches for 653 yards for an average of 13.9 yards per catch, 5 TDs, and QB rating when targeted of 89.2.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • When used downfield, Scott shows the ball-tracking skills and hand-eye coordination to make the adjustment on underthrown balls and back-shoulder throws.
  • Does not have exceptional straight-line speed but takes advantage of open seams when his quarterback is on target.
  • Scott is a natural playmaker, at his best with the ball in his hands.
  • Has long arms to stiff-arm defensive backs in the open field. Willing to lower his pads to run through tackles for extra yardage. Goes over the middle, can spin out of tackles and take the big hit.
  • Has a tall frame and long arms, plus strong hands, giving him a huge catch radius.
  • Scott has reliable hands and shows the willingness to make catches in traffic over the middle.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Not a burner or consistent vertical threat. Has a lanky frame and will be overmatched physically by most cornerbacks in the NFL. Needs to be more competitive in tight coverage.
  • He’s not going to threaten to take the top off of a defense.
  • Scott really isn’t a guy who will create a lot of separation.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
