Draft Profile: Bio
Emmett Mosley V comes from an athletic family; his father played receiver and running back at Notre Dame, and his mother, Cindy Daws, won the Hermann Trophy as a college soccer player. At Santa Margarita High School in California he caught 78 passes for 930 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior and was a four-star recruit.

Mosley set Stanford's true freshman receiving records in 2024 with 48 catches for 525 yards and six touchdowns, including 13 catches for 168 yards and three scores against Louisville. He transferred to Texas in the summer of 2025 and made eight starts, catching the game-winning overtime touchdown at Mississippi State.

In 2026 he has 25 catches for 416 yards and a touchdown in a rotational role. He caught five passes for 62 yards in the 24-23 win over Ohio State, including a fourth-down conversion, and had four catches for 98 yards and a score against Mississippi State.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Averages almost 17 yards a catch out of the slot
  • Four catches for 98 yards and a touchdown against Mississippi State
  • Delivers in big moments, including a fourth-and-6 conversion against Ohio State
  • Steady hands, with no drops in 2025 and one this season
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Contested catches are a struggle, with one won on four tries this season
  • Inconsistent volume, with three games of two catches or fewer
  • Has not been a full-time starter at Texas
  • Production has not returned to the level of his freshman season at Stanford
  • A junior who could return to Texas for 2027
Scouting Report: Summary
Mosley is a quick, savvy slot receiver who has made big plays when Texas has called his number. He averages almost 17 yards a catch, has reliable hands and came up big against Ohio State, converting a fourth down in a one-point win.

However, his role at Texas has been inconsistent, and he has not matched his record-setting freshman season at Stanford. He struggles in contested situations and is not a full-time starter, which limits the sample.

Overall, Mosley has the route skills and hands that coaches trust in the slot. He projects as a priority free agent, though a bigger role in 2027 could lift his stock.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
