Draft Profile: Bio
KP Price spent three years at Calvert Hall in Baltimore before finishing at St. Frances, where he won a 2021 MIAA title and made the All-Metro first team. Rated a three-star prospect, he was a baseball player and sprinter as well.

Price started the 2023 Fenway Bowl at safety as a freshman and blocked two kicks that year. He took over at strong safety in 2024 and topped the Eagles with 85 tackles to go with two interceptions. A year later he led them again with 94 tackles, lined up at linebacker for three starts and was a second-team All-ACC pick, highlighted by 14 tackles against Clemson.

Price said on 3 January 2026 that he was coming back for his senior season, telling fans he wanted to complete the mission. He has opened all eight games and sits at about 60 tackles. Maine saw him pick off two passes in a 22-16 win, and he added 10 tackles and another interception when Boston College beat Pitt 27-21 on 17 October.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Two interceptions when Boston College edged Maine 22-16
  • Ten tackles and an interception when the Eagles beat Pitt 27-21
  • Boston College's leading tackler in both 2024 and 2025
  • Has lined up at safety, linebacker and in the slot for the Eagles
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Quarterbacks have hit on 21 of 28 throws against him in 2026
  • Missed 14 tackles in 2025 before tightening up this year
  • Lacks the range to play as a true single-high safety
  • Some scouts view his future at linebacker rather than safety
  • Would be undersized if teams ask him to play linebacker full time
Scouting Report: Summary
Price is a tough, instinctive defender who has been Boston College's top tackler for three seasons. He diagnoses runs quickly in the box, and his ball skills have grown this year, with three interceptions, two of which came against Maine.

However, quarterbacks complete most of their throws against him, 21 of 28 this season, and he lacks deep range. NFL staffs may view him as a tweener between safety and linebacker.

Overall, Price is a productive, versatile box defender who should help on special teams. He projects as a priority free agent who can push for a reserve safety spot.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
