Draft Profile: Bio
Tegra Tshabola was born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and moved to Ohio as a child. At Lakota West he was a first-team All-Ohio pick and suited up in the All-American Bowl, and Rivals ranked the four-star recruit No. 114 nationally. He had offers from Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Oregon and Oklahoma.

Tshabola sat out most of 2022 as a redshirt at Ohio State and saw limited action in 2023. He was the starting right guard for the Buckeyes' 2024 national championship team, playing 694 snaps, and started there again in 2025, when he made third-team All-Big Ten despite allowing 12 pressures and drawing five penalties. An injury in the Big Ten Championship Game against Indiana kept him out of the playoff quarterfinal against Miami.

Tshabola moved to Kentucky for one last college season and has held down the right guard job, logging 492 snaps. He has allowed one sack, against Vanderbilt, and only three pressures, and he has been flagged twice, against Alabama and Texas A&M.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Started at right guard for Ohio State's 2024 national champions
  • Third-team All-Big Ten pick during his final Ohio State season
  • Only three pressures allowed in 492 snaps this season
  • Massive frame that outweighs most guards in the class
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Average athlete for a guard, with a forty in the middle range
  • Allowed 12 pressures and drew five flags in 2025
  • Injury in the Big Ten title game cost him a playoff start
  • Gave up a sack in the game against Vanderbilt
  • Penalized against both Alabama and Texas A&M this season
Scouting Report: Summary
Tshabola is a huge, experienced guard who started on a national championship team and earned All-Big Ten honors. He has been steady at Kentucky, allowing only three pressures.

However, his athletic testing is average, he was penalized often in 2025, and he missed a playoff game with an injury.

Overall, Tshabola is a big, proven guard with modest athletic traits. He projects as a priority free agent who could push for a reserve spot.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
