Draft Profile: Bio
Terrence Lewis from Miami Central High School was rated a 5-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Lewis will always try to plow into the largest piles and has a good knack of ending up glued to the ballcarrier.
  • He’s a capable blitzer with the ability to close quickly. He’s also very good in coverage, rangy with good awareness in zone coverage, and fluid and fast enough to run with most tight ends.
  • He shows good speed and closing burst when blitzing.
  • A chase-and-tackle Will prospect, Lewis is instinctive, reading and reacting quickly and showing the ability to absolutely fly around the field.
  • Lewis has good quickness and an excellent understanding of angles, often beating blockers to the spot.
  • He’s built like a defensive back but hits like a linebacker. Milano has sideline-to-sideline range and is a violent, wrap-up hitter.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • He’s often slow to react and locate the ball against the run.
  • Lewis is slow to locate the ball and too often overruns plays, easily fooled by counters and misdirections. Lewis has limited experience in coverage, and his awareness when dropping into zone will likely be an issue.
  • He’s going to have to add weight, and even then Lewis will likely be a liability against the run.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
