Jaden Greathouse rewrote the record books at Austin Westlake with 232 receptions for 4,035 yards and 53 touchdowns while winning three straight Texas state titles. At Notre Dame, the four-star recruit caught a team-leading five touchdown passes as a 2023 freshman, then closed 2024 with back-to-back 100-yard College Football Playoff games, including 128 yards and two scores against Ohio State in the national championship.A severe hamstring injury, suffered during the practice week before the October 4 Boise State game, wrecked Greathouse's 2025 season. Limited to four games, he caught four passes for 73 yards, with a season-best two receptions for 41 yards against Texas A&M in September. In November he underwent a blood-draining procedure on the hamstring, and Notre Dame held him out late in the year to preserve a redshirt.
Greathouse, whose father Chris played at Washington State and whose uncle Oscar has coached the defensive line at Wyoming, retained the extra year of eligibility and returned to Notre Dame for the 2026 season.
