Aubrey Solomon from Lee County High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 5-star grade by 247 Sports. After high school, Solomon joined Michigan after being heavily recruited.In 2018 as a freshman Solomon saw action in 5 games and played a total of 71 snaps for the Wolverines. He recorded only 6 tackles, no assists, while adding 5 stops.
After season's end Solomon transferred to Tennessee where as a sophomore for the Volunteers in 2019 Solomon played 12 games and took part in 272 snaps for the Volunteers. He recorded 17 tackles, 11 assists, while adding 18 stops. As a pass rusher, he chalked up 3 total pressures, and one QB hurry, one QB hit, and one sack during the year.
In 2020 as a junior Solomon played in 10 games and contributed on 187 snaps. He recorded 12 tackles, 5 assists while making 7 stops.

- Solomon shows impressive burst and enough quickness to occasionally threaten the edge as a pass rusher.
- Delivers a strong punch and uses his hands to shed blocks to make plays in the hole or outside the box. Uses lower-body strength to anchor inside.
- Big-bodied rusher with very good upper-body strength. Strong and stout at the point of attack with the measurables to occupy multiple blockers.
- He’s quick to react and locate the ball, and Solomon shows enough speed to succeed in backside pursuit. He plays with excellent balance and a strong, flexible core, rarely ending up on the ground.
- Solomon has the strong core and powerful hands to shed blockers, and he shows excellent instincts with the ability to quickly locate the ball.
- Shows a natural feel for setting up blockers and getting them off-balance. His hands are active and violent, and he quickly disengages with blockers and counters when his initial move stalls.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- He’s heavy-footed and lacks any kind of dynamic athleticism in his lower body.
- Solomon doesn’t have a lot of suddenness to his game, and Solomon won’t wreck plays on a regular basis.
- Solomon remains a bit raw, as he is inconsistent with his hand use and lacks violence in his hands
