Strengths
  • Arguably his best skill due to an extraordinary burst off the snap. Explodes out of his stance, demonstrating a burst upfield to slip gaps and the lateral agility once past the line to chase down the quarterback.
  • A high-motor pass rusher with good quickness, Daly has a compact but wide frame and long arms.
  • With a powerful lower body and the ability to hold up at the point of attack as a run defender, Daly is remarkably instinctive.
  • He’s long but has a powerful lower body and plays with impressive leverage considering his tall frame.
  • Rarely goes to the ground, showing good balance from his high school wrestling days.
  • Strong tackler. Has good power in hands and can anchor, shed, and chase.
Weaknesses
  • His spin move is a bit slow and mechanical. He’s susceptible to cut blocks, a tactic that was used on him often
  • He’s stiff as an athlete, as Daly lacks the flexibility to truly threaten the edge.
  • While he has violent hands, he uses them too inconsistently. Daly tends to let blockers get into his chest, and he’ll waste time hand fighting due to a limited array of pass rush moves.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
