Draft Profile: Bio
Eugene Brooks IV played at Desert Pines in Las Vegas before finishing at Sierra Canyon in California, earning All-CIF Southern Section honors in 2022 and 2023 and an invitation to play in the Under Armour game. A four-star recruit ranked No. 73 nationally by 247Sports, he also won the 2023 sectional shot put title with a throw of 55 feet 6 inches.Brooks played in three games at Oklahoma in 2024 while redshirting, then transferred to UCLA. He started 11 games at left guard in 2025 as the Bruins' only freshman starter, though he was not cleared after a practice injury and sat out the 56-6 loss at Indiana. That season he was charged with two sacks and 16 pressures.
On 1 January 2026, Brooks said he would stay at UCLA under new coach Bob Chesney. He has played in seven games this season, giving up a sack and two pressures at California in the opener but only one pressure since then. He played just 14 snaps against Wisconsin.
