Draft Profile: Bio
William Satterwhite came out of Ohio as a four-star interior lineman in the 2024 class, ranked 12th at his position. Tennessee won his commitment over Alabama, Clemson and Cincinnati.

Satterwhite redshirted with the Volunteers in 2024, playing 45 snaps at center in three games. In 2025 he backed up at center in eight games without starting, then committed to LSU on 10 January 2026 with three years of eligibility in hand.

Summer projections had Satterwhite behind center Braelin Moore, but he has since moved into the guard rotation and become a regular. He logged 74 snaps at Kentucky, 70 against Mississippi State and 82 at Auburn. Across 359 snaps he has surrendered one sack, at Kentucky, and nine pressures, and he was flagged twice against Texas A&M. His frame is on the slender side for the interior, and he has two seasons of eligibility left after this one.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Has worked into LSU's lineup at guard in recent weeks
  • Played 82 snaps in LSU's road game at Auburn
  • Experienced at both center and guard across two programs
  • Four-star recruit ranked 12th nationally among interior linemen
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Allowed a sack and three pressures at Kentucky
  • Two penalties came in the Texas A&M game alone
  • Mississippi State drew three pressures and a flag
  • Light frame by the standards of NFL interior linemen
  • Nine pressures surrendered across 359 snaps this season
Scouting Report: Summary
Satterwhite is a versatile blocker who has become a regular at LSU after transferring from Tennessee. He can play center or guard and has handled heavy snap counts in recent games.

However, he has struggled in protection, with a sack and nine pressures allowed, and he has been penalized three times. He is light for the interior.

Overall, Satterwhite is a developing lineman with versatility. He projects as a priority free agent and has two more seasons of eligibility.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
