Draft Profile: Bio
Marques Easley was a four-star lineman at Kankakee High School in Illinois, a first-team All-Area pick who played in a Class 6A state final as a sophomore. He had offers from Alabama, Tennessee and Oklahoma and signed with Georgia in the 2024 class.Easley played in two games at Georgia in 2024 while redshirting. On 17 March 2025 he was involved in a car crash that led to a misdemeanor reckless conduct charge, and Georgia suspended him indefinitely. He entered the transfer portal on 17 April and committed to Purdue later that month. He played 10 snaps against Indiana in 2025.
Easley ran with the first team in spring practice and has started at guard for Purdue this season. He has allowed one sack, at Penn State, and six pressures in 386 snaps, though Washington produced four pressures against him and he drew two penalties at Illinois.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Has started every game at guard for Purdue this season
- Gave up no pressures in the September game at UCLA
- Can play guard or tackle, according to the Purdue staff
- Former four-star recruit who drew offers from Alabama and Tennessee
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Washington beat him for four pressures in October
- Drew two flags in the road game at Illinois
- Allowed a sack in the most recent game at Penn State
- Misdemeanor charge and suspension at Georgia after a 2025 crash
- Played only 10 snaps in his first two college seasons
Scouting Report: Summary
Easley is a big, young guard who has earned a starting job at Purdue after a difficult start to his college career. Purdue sees him as an option at guard or tackle. He has held up in most games, including a clean outing at UCLA.However, his play has been uneven, with four pressures allowed against Washington and two penalties at Illinois. He also had a misdemeanor charge and a suspension at Georgia, and he had played only 10 snaps before this year.
Overall, Easley is a raw, developing lineman with starter size. He projects as a priority free agent but has plenty of eligibility left to grow.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank
in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance.
For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
