Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Plays with appropriate wide base and intelligence, instincts and agility to seal the edge. Aggressive extending with power to punch and looks comfortable in space.
  • Showing some nastiness to his game, Jennings will sustain blocks through the whistle, thriving when he’s in the phone booth.
  • Good natural athleticism, knee bend and fluid lateral movement to mirror college defensive ends.
  • Adequate foot quickness to remain outside. Can get to the second level with surprising agility when adjusting to moving defenders. Underrated athleticism, agility, balance, and even straight-line speed to contribute.
  • Jennings does a nice job working with teammates to build the pocket, anchoring against bull rushers and displaying good awareness against stunts and twists.
  • Consistently lands blocks at the second level, and he finishes strong. As a pass protector, he has violent, heavy hands. Along with a strong initial punch, he has the hand strength to grip and redirect pass rushers.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • Has fairly heavy feet, struggling to mirror against quicker defenders. Jennings lacks the range to get out as an effective puller, and Jennings can often look stiff when moving out into space and zeroing in on bodies.
  • Has the traits to improve, but he gets impatient in his set, lunging and reaching, and generally playing with poor balance at times. Jennings is inconsistent with his kick slide.
  • His physical gifts were enough to get by against collegiate opponents, but he had trouble with bull rushers when facing quality competition, which is potentially a problem in the NFL.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
