Scouting Report: Strengths
- Eager to come downhill as a tackler and plays with a physical edge, and he’s effective as a blitzer.
- Possesses an NFL frame with strong hands, the ability to close quickly on underneath routes, and the size to tackle with a thump.
- Demonstrates good body control and balance to redirect and break down in the open field.
- Has the fluidity, speed and quick feet to come down and defend slot receivers in man coverage. Excellent at breaking down in space as a tackler after the catch.
- Benefits from a tall frame and long arms, plus strong hands, resulting in a substantial catch radius.
- Shows great route recognition and click-and-close ability.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Lacks explosiveness and needs to improve flexibility in his drops - tends to play too high.
- Though disruptive at all levels of the field, the player's versatility might be seen as ambiguity in his role by some teams.
- Despite his man coverage skills, needs to improve on reading downfield routes and tracking the deep ball.
