- Can get up on the line of scrimmage and deliver a solid punch early in routes, then use that quickness to shadow, or back off and close quickly when the ball comes out
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Feet aren’t ideal, as Banks gets sloppy in his backpedal and can be sluggish when transitioning to close on the ball.
- Has poor recognition skills when facing the action in zone coverage.
- Susceptible to the big plays as a gambler at the catch point and as a catch-and-run victim. He’s also too reluctant to come up and make hits in run support, often focusing on the strip more than the tackle.
