Latavious Brini attended Mater Academy Charter High School and was rated a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports with a scout's rating of 0.868, going unranked by ESPN. Following high school, Brini opted to join Georgia.In 2018 as a freshman Brini saw action in just one game and played a total of 4 snaps at safety for the Bulldogs. He recorded only one tackle, no assists, while adding no stops. In coverage Brini notched up no pass breakups, no interceptions, and an outstanding QB rating when targetted of .0.
As a sophomore in 2019 he played in just 3 games and logged 6 snaps for the Bulldogs. He made only one tackle, no assists, and had no stops. In coverage he totaled no pass breakups, one interception, and an outstanding QB rating when targetted of 2.8.

Scouting Report: Strengths
- Does a nice job using his eyes to read and react quickly. Smart, disciplined defender who makes plays on the ball and contesting throws.
- Has very good length and is a fluid mover in the middle of the field. Brini plays with a linebacker’s mentality, attacking downfield and delivering violent hits on ball carriers.
- Has good trajectory assessment on the thrown ball, breaks quickly and has decent ball skills
- Is an explosive mover with quickness and speed. He’s at his best attacking downhill, shooting gaps in run support, and disrupting the backfield.
- Long, strong and fast, has a prototypical build for a press corner. He’s physical at the line of scrimmage, lining up under an opponent’s chin strap and consistently knocking receivers off their routes early thanks to quick, powerful hands.
- His ball skills are very good. Brini tracks the ball well downfield and has the hands and coordination to come away with interceptions even when Brini isn’t targeted often.
- In the run game, he’s aggressive coming downhill and a sure tackler.

- Brini plays high and tends to struggle with change of direction, and Brini also shows some stiffness when he has to flip his hips.
- Brini gets beat over the top too often, and he tends to panic and get too handsy when running downfield.
