Scouting Report: Strengths
- Mallory can move the chains and has the skills to stand out in the red zone with sneaky foot speed and long stride to top producing tight end.
- Good burst off the snap, quick hands and good balance to gain a clean release.
- He’s a creative runner with good vision in the open field. He’ll contribute as a run blocker on the perimeter. He’s also a possible return specialist.
- A lean athlete with obvious upside. Soft hands. Flashes the ability to make the outstanding catch.
- Very good speed for the position. Has a second gear to accelerate. Big-play threat.
- Has the burst off the snap to be split out wide in the NFL
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- His ability to track the ball is good enough, but Mallory too often let the ball get into his body downfield rather than snatching it with his hands.
- Mallory lacks the twitch to create consistent separation, and despite his size and ability to track the ball downfield, he isn’t great on contested catches.
- Is a bit high-hipped and slow to get rolling. Frame limits upside as a blocker.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank

For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
