Run blocking from a running back covers lead blocks from a fullback or two-back set and the blocks a back throws for his quarterback on designed runs. It is a small sample for most backs, so treat the grade as a tiebreaker. Mike Alstott (Purdue) was the model for the position when fullbacks still carried the ball.
